The reason for this is an error of type PermissionDeniedError. To fix this, try refreshing the page, ensure that a microphone is connected to your computer, or allow audio permission if it was previously denied.

Use a Chromebook to tape yourselves having a conversation about Le Vol des Oiseaux. Do you like it? Do you want to go to Africa? Do you feel sorry for Nathalie or do you think she's lucky? What do you think will happen? (etc.) DON'T STOP THE RECORDING AND RESTART, TRYING TO MAKE IT PERFECT. You get full credit just for doing it -- it's practice. Don't rehearse -- just go!
